Guwor Calls For Enabling Platform For Children To Attain Full Potential

As the nation celebrate this year’s Children’s National Day, Speaker Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Dennis Guwor has stressed the need for collective efforts towards ensuring that every child is nurtured, educated and empowered to reach their fullest potentials.

Rt Hon Guwor in a goodwill message to parents and children in Delta State on the National Day celebration, said the event reminds us as a people of the boundless joy and hope that children bring into lives and the society at large.

The Speaker in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, CPS, Mr Nkem Nwaeke, extends heartfelt greetings and best wishes to every child in Delta state.

He described Children as the greatest treasure and the future architects of the society, saying that it is a collective responsibility to ensure promising and bright future for them.

Rt Hon Guwor said the Delta State House of Assembly remains dedicated to processing bills that protect the rights of children as well as promote their well-being, and provide them with quality beginnings.

The Speaker assured that the State Legislature under his watch, would continue to encourage investment in the children’s futures.

He also promised sustained synergy with the Executive to enhancing educational facilities, access to healthcare as well as legislative support on programmes that foster development and growth of children in Delta State.

Guwor reminded the children that they have the power to shape the future, and promised all desired support from the legislature.

“To all the children, I encourage you to dream big, pursue your passions, and never lose sight of your goals”, Guwor stated.

He thanked parents, teachers and all who work with the children, for their invaluable role and profound impact on their lives.

“As we commemorate this special day for our children, let us strive harder to creating a safe and supportive environment where every child can thrive.

“Let us celebrate our Children with joy and optimism. Collectively, we can build a brighter and more prosperous future for them”, Guwor stressed.
