The power tussle in the Kaduna State House of Assembly may have been put to rest, following Kaduna State High Court of Justice order restraining Dr. Hon Isaac Auta Zankai, from parading himself as the Deputy Speaker, Kaduna State House of Assembly.
This was disclosed by the Rt. Honourable Mukhtar Hazo Media Organization.
“By this development, all authorities Kaduna State Government, Kaduna State House of Assembly, the general public are advised to stop recognizing Hon Dr Isaac Auta Zankai as the purportedly elected Deputy Speaker from today 24th June, 2020.
“We appreciate all well wishers for their steadfastness and support during this period.
“Together we shall make Kaduna State House of Assembly an Internationally recognized Honorable House Insha Allah”, the statement said.
It would be recalled that recently, a drama at the Kaduna Assembly led to the purported impeachment of Rt. Honourable Hazo as Deputy Speaker and recognition of Dr. Auta as his replacement.
