In a statement issued on Saturday, Senator Ned Munir Nwoko, Chairman of the Committee, said the hearing was rescheduled following the Senate’s shift in resumption date from April 29 to May 6, 2025.

The two-day public hearing will now be held on Thursday, May 15, and Friday, May 16, 2025, at the Senate Conference Room 022, Senate New Building, National Assembly Complex, Abuja. Proceedings are scheduled to commence at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday and 10:00 a.m. on Friday.

Stakeholders are advised to submit 35 hard copies and one soft copy of their memoranda to the Committee Secretariat, located in Room 2.2 (White House, Senate), no later than Thursday, May 15, 2025.

The Committee apologized for any inconvenience the rescheduling may have caused and expressed gratitude for the continued cooperation of stakeholders.

Members of the public are also encouraged to provide credible information regarding illegal oil bunkering, with assurances that all contributions will be appreciated and rewarded.
