2023: I Want The Electoral Process To Work, Adebayo Pledges Commitment

Presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Adewole Adebayo, has reiterated his commitment to a workable electoral process that would bring about a free, fair and credible elections come 2023.

This is even as he expressed believe in the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct an unbiased and integrity based general elections.

Adebayo, with a rising popularity, in a tweet on Friday August 26th 2022, called on the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), the All Progressives Congress (APC) and other parties that are afraid of election to enter into an accord that would guarantee such a process in the country.

He equally tasked the Nigerian Police Force (NPF), the Nigerian Army and other sister security agencies to do same for a seamless transition.

According to him, he pledged his commitment on behalf of the Social Democratic Party for a credible elections that would ensure his emergence as president of the country and other SDP candidates with integrity in 2023.

Hear him: “I pledge on behalf of myself and other candidates of the Social Democratic Party to make the 2023 election work.

“I believe that @inecnigeria wants the electoral process to work.

“We need to extract full commitment from the @PoliceNG, @HQNigerianArmy @OfficialAPCNg @OfficialPDPNig”.

Fielding questions in an interview, the entrepreneur with deep passion for Nigeria, expressed optimism amidst worrisome concerns on the workability of the general elections.

Said he: “Of course, I have seen areas of concern but if we wants it to work, it will work. Even the ones we complained about, if we wanted it to work, it will work.

“This one is workable, I want it to work. INEC wants it to work. I hope the police wants it to work. I hope these parties who are afraid of losing elections, wants it to work.

“I hope the media wants it to work by highlighting things which are unfair advantages and risks so that we can focus on them.

“If we want it to work, it will work but we are further equipped to make it work” he declared.
