Pastor William Kumuyi, the general superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry has counseled youths to aspire to move out of their present state to greater levels in their life endeavours.

Speaking on the topic: “Walking on the Kings Highway” at the youth impact programme held in Lome, capital of Togo, Pastor Kumuyi said youths should take decisive action to move forward and achieve their life goals.

The renowned international evangelist said: “No one is born a doctor, no one is born a conqueror, no one is born an achiever. Rather, achievers are made out of determination to rise from their situations.” He added: “We are born at the ground level but you don’t stay there for life.”

“You must make a desire to follow up with a decision and determination to achieve greatness. No creature must be allowed to tamper with your decision. Everyday you need to pursue issues that will add value to your decision of going higher.”

As a way forward, he advised youths to be dissatisfied with their present situation and seek for opportunities of making breakthroughs and scaling up their success stories.

He said: “Think about your life. What have you been doing all this while? You have remained in the same place for too long. The failure of the past is enough. The merry go round of the past is enough. You cannot be doing merry go round without success.

“You need to tell the Lord that you want a higher ground. You need to tell the Lord that you want his purpose fulfilled in your life. You need to take a decision without going back.”

Pastor Kumuyi, the convener of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK) said God is the only one who could take everyone desirous of greatness to higher ground.

He ruled out the possibility of making all round success without the input of God. He called on youths to believe and trust in God as he is the only one who can set them free and break the yokes of bondage.
