THE STORY: Delta Government Reverts To New Minimum Wage

Reliably information reaching The Story, has it that the Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa-led administration in Delta State, has reverted back to the new minimum wage after salary was cut for two months.

News filtered into town Friday that the state government had reversed its decision to cut the salary of civil servants. 

It has reverted to the agreed minimum wage from 1st sept 2020.

It would be recall that the state government due to the effect of the Coronavirus pandemic and dwindling oil prices, cut the salary of civil servants from salary grade levels 7-17.
