As Christians across Nigeria celebrate the Easter season, Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North in the National Assembly, has extended heartfelt greetings to the Christian community, urging citizens to reflect on the values of peace, compassion, and national unity.

In a goodwill message released on Easter Sunday, Senator Nwoko highlighted the profound significance of the season as a moment for spiritual renewal, self-reflection, and a recommitment to shared values that bind the nation together.

“This is a season that calls for deep reflection,” Nwoko stated. “As we celebrate the resurrection of Christ, may we also renew our commitment to peace, compassion, and unity in our nation.”

He appealed to Nigerians to draw strength from the message of Easter, hope through sacrifice, and to extend love and support to one another, particularly during challenging times.

According to the Senator, embracing the spirit of Easter can help bridge divisions and promote inclusiveness in national discourse and development.

Known for his ongoing advocacy in areas such as education, youth development, and the fight against malaria, Senator Nwoko encouraged Christians to use the occasion to inspire positive change within their communities.

“Let this Easter remind us of the enduring power of sacrifice and the unifying strength of love,” he said. “Together, through mutual understanding and empathy, we can build a more prosperous and harmonious Nigeria.”

He concluded by calling on all Nigerians, regardless of faith, to pray for the nation’s peace and stability and to renew their commitment to building a just and united society.

Easter, which commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ, stands as a powerful symbol of redemption, faith, and the promise of new beginnings, ideals Senator Nwoko believes the country needs now more than ever.
