Ahead of the February next year presidential election, the flag bearer of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Adewole Adebayo, Esq., said the political platform of Peter Obi, Labour Party (LP) as an extension of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) and should not be trusted.
The international lawyer and president, KAFTAN Conglomerate, made the revelation on Channels TV Sunrise Daily on Thursday November 8, 2022.
He revealed that his party earlier pushed for a merger with LP and other political parties.
Hear him: “Labour Party is now a branch of the PDP. We wanted to merge with the PRP and Labour Party when it was Labour Party”.
Meanwhile, the SDP presidential candidate has promised to abolish poverty if elected president come 2023.
“We can abolish poverty within two budgets”.
He said, hunger and lack of basic needs have bedeviled the country, forcing Nigerians to go beggarly.
“Why are people poor? People are not poor because they don’t have billions in their accounts. People are poor because when they wake up in the morning, they can’t have good food eat or don’t have food at all.
“They don’t have good housing or access to medical care and education. Tell, me which of these components cannot be made available in two years? The industrialist cum philanthropist queried.
This man has not said anything reasnable to be published on social media handles . How among the presidential candidates that has not cross frome one party to the other? Some have even cross to other parties and came back to the party they started with, then why castigating this man?
