Commissioners recently screened by the Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA), are expected to assume office next week as they gear up for swearing-in on Tuesday August 22nd 2023.
This was contained in a government special announcement on Friday August 18th 2023, by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Kingsley Emu.
According to him, “it is hereby announced for the information of the general public, particularly Deltans that the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. F.O Oborevwori, will on Tuesday 22nd of August 2023, swear in the newly appointed commissioner designates as members of the State Executive Council.
“The swearing-in ceremony of the commissioners designates will take place at the Event Centre, Okpanam, Road at 10:00am”.
The notice advised all appointees, family members and invited guests to seat at 9:30am for the ceremony.
