Unknown gunmen have murdered a former chairman, Nigeria Union of Local Government Employee (NULGE), Oshimili south local government Council, Delta State.
Trouble started on Monday July 12th 2021, when the chairman identified as Sachimo, was to take his children to school when the hoodlums appeared from nowhere and gun him down.
It was gathered that he was shot on the head at a close range in the presence of his wife.
It was also gathered that stray bullets touched the wife in the process but she survived.
In another development, boys suspected to be cultists have murdered another unidentified young man behind the healthcare Centre, opposite Studio 24, along Nnebisi Road Asaba.
It was learnt that the deceased was a surveyor, until he met his untimely death.
Meanwhile, a yet to be identified man slumbed opposite Union Bank, Traffic Light Branch, in Asaba.
The Ag. Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Edafe Bright, confirmed the killing of the NULGE Chairman.
