His election was received with jubilation by the Delta delegation, who lauded his professional pedigree, leadership acumen, and unblemished record of public service.

Dr. Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe Esq, Public Relations Executive of NIPR Delta Chapter, in a statement on Thursday, described Ukah’s election as a testament to his long-standing dedication to the public relations profession.

In a further boost for Delta, the state’s NIPR Chairman, Mr. Godfrey Osakwe, was also officially inducted into the College of Fellows of the institute during the AGM.

The recognition places Osakwe among the elite professionals shaping the future of public relations in Nigeria.

Reacting to the developments, Chief (Elder) Emma Ogidi, a Senior Fellow of NIPR and respected leader of the Delta delegation, congratulated both Ukah and Osakwe.

He described Ukah’s elevation as a strategic advantage for the state chapter, positioning Delta to play a more influential role in national NIPR policymaking and capacity building.

“Chief Ukah’s emergence into the Council is a welcome development for our state chapter. It affirms our commitment to professionalism and deepens our footprint at the national level.

“Equally, Mr. Osakwe’s induction as a Fellow is well-deserved and speaks to his consistency and passion for PR excellence,” Ogidi stated.

He expressed optimism that Ukah’s tenure would fast-track growth within the Delta NIPR chapter while raising the bar in ethical standards and best practices across the profession.
