Chief Jude Baadi, a key member of the Delta Unity Group (DUG) and prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) figure, has lauded Senator Ned Nwoko for actualizing the long-awaited Aniocha North Constituency 2, calling it a “landmark victory” for the people.
During a live appearance on Nol 24 TV, Baadi highlighted the senator’s unwavering commitment to implementing the Supreme Court judgment that affirmed the eligibility of nine communities for a second state constituency in Aniocha North, despite political resistance.
“Some politicians stood against the implementation of the judgment after it was delivered by the Supreme Court,” Baadi remarked. “But Senator Ned Nwoko made it clear from day one that making Aniocha North Constituency 2 a reality would be his top priority in the National Assembly — and he delivered.”
According to Baadi, Nwoko’s efforts have paved the way for dual representation in the Delta State House of Assembly by 2027, significantly boosting political inclusion and development for the affected areas.
“This is not just a political win — it’s a victory for justice and fairness,” he added. “Why can’t we give him credit for that? Ned Nwoko is a wonderful senator, and we owe him our support.”
Baadi praised Nwoko’s principled leadership style, noting that the senator’s focus remains firmly on public service rather than political theatrics.
“He may not do things your way, but he gets them done,” Baadi said. “In a decent political environment, people like Senator Nwoko should be celebrated, not vilified. His focus is on improving lives, not engaging in dirty politics.”
Reaffirming his loyalty to the senator’s vision for Delta North, Baadi emphasized that Nwoko’s integrity and dedication to public good make him a standout figure in Nigeria’s political landscape.
“Everyone who knows him knows he means well for the people of Delta North. We should give him all the support he needs to succeed,” he concluded.
